When Randy Boyd completes a project, he wants to leave having clearly reflected his clients’ personalities.  One of Randy’s primary goals is to give his clients’ homes a “collected” look that exudes a strong sense of styling along with a welcome and comfortable energy.  Randy’s work has spanned over 26 years.  His traditional sensibilities combine styles and periods.  For example, he might design a home with predominately European antiques but will then incorporate touches of Asian artifacts to add interest or whimsy.  “We are never static with what we bring to the mix,” Randy says, noting that he prefers heirlooms to trendy pieces.

His repeat clients – and there are many – have to come to depend on Thurston/Boyd for every aspect of their homes’ design. The full service firm has a strong background in construction and lends its expertise to all areas of the building process.  “I am very involved with the architect, contractor, subcontractors and the landscape artist,” Randy says.  “That way, everyone works together, culminating in a project that flows smoothly and is completed in a timely manner.”
