ASID COC Student Career Day 2013 Wednesday, February 13, 2013 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM From the classroom to the real designer world! Over 100 students attended the 2013 ASID Student Career Day! Students from IDI, FIDM, Saddleback, Fullerton, Orange Coast, and so on enjoyed 6 informative sessions at the Laguna Design Center that explored how showrooms collaborate with industry experts in their respective fields. Over lunch, attendees watched the designer panel of residential, hospitality, and commercial designers. What a great day it was for students to transition to the real designer world!

Teams of top OC designers and Laguna Design Center Showrooms created fashion forward outfits out of products from participating showrooms in only 90 minutes. Guests enjoyed an evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine and cocktails as models strutted down the runway and were judged by designer celebrity judges!
