    Key Roles:

    Build and develop a dynamic customer centric sales and customer service team.     • Provide support, coaching and direction to ensure comprehensive understanding of Circa Lighting’s approach to sales, customer service, and showroom operational procedures
    • Partner and foster a strong working relationship with Business Development Specialist(s)
    • Create and manage a proactive sales and business development approach to target and convert new prospective customers
    • Demonstrate and ensure customer service excellence to maximize customer retention
    • Utilize and analyze available sales and operations data to drive sales behaviors and priorities
    • Lead onboarding and continuous training for staff
    • Actively participate in local market networking events
    • Work with the Circa Lighting marketing team to identify and develop events in the local market
    • Actively support and participate in the sales process and customer interaction both inside and outside of the showroom

    Showroom Operations:

    • Ensure compliance with all company and showroom policies and procedures
    • Maintain a clean and attractive showroom in accordance with our visual standards
    • In cooperation with the Visual Merchandising and Operations teams, assist with merchandising and managing the showroom inventory
    • Become proficient in and train staff on the company’s point of sale and operating systems – oversee staff compliance with company procedures and operating processes
    • Maintain sales floor and all other showroom areas, including stock room, in an organized manner to enhance safety and efficiency
    • Coordinate with internal teams to drive successful showroom product resets, build outs, and installations
    • Coordinate activities to facilitate shipping and receiving in accordance with established procedures
    • Contract appropriate external resources (cleaning crew, maintenance) to support showroom operations – order and maintain office and cleaning supplies
    • Ensure showrooms are open and ready for business each day

    Communication & Reporting:

    • Routinely communicate store status including sales, returns, aging, personnel and request assistance as needed
    • Prepare timely monthly reporting in accordance with company requirements
    • Ensure accurate showroom inventory, sales reports and bank records

    Position Requirements:

    • 3+ years retail or showroom management and sales experience, preferably in the luxury home furnishings, lighting or building materials industries
    • Experience in Interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishing and/or lighting industry required
    • College graduate required
    • Ability to lead and motivate others
    • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as be an effective team player
    • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
    • Ability to take the initiative to get the job done
    • Keen eye for design and creativity

    • Superior communication and organization skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Must demonstrate maturity in judgment, commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager
    • Critical thinking; ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines and production schedules in fast-paced environment

    Position Summary:

    The Account Manager will enable customer retention and growth through effective account management activities. This role combines outside and inside sales with 60% of time dedicated to outside sales calls and 40% in showroom sales and customer service. This role is a key sales position that requires priority based consistent client interaction, product and service education and relationship building.

    Responsibilities:

    • Access customers, overcome objections and convert to Circa Lighting products
    • Utilize proprietary CRM tools to execute a structured sales call cadence; Minimum of 15 client visits (10 drop-ins plus 5 scheduled meetings) per week
    • Maintain a defined group of customers; defend our business and identify growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Business Development Specialist and other Sales Associates to support overall market growth
    • Participate in networking and trade associations to create brand awareness, identify new prospects and build relationships in the local market.

    Position Summary:

    The Business Development Specialist is responsible for growing Circa Lighting’s business and achieving sales targets within their assigned market. This role will focus on identifying and partnering with new customers as well as cultivating our business with existing customers. This role is a key sales position with responsibility for driving significant growth for the organization. Target customers include residential home builders, interior designers, home technology integrators and electrical contractors. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, they will work as part of a broader team that will help enable customer acquisition, growth, & retention.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Leads all aspects of the sales process, while leveraging other sales, marketing and operational resources to assist in solution development or implementation.
    • Ability to access existing and target customers; conduct 16 face to face sales calls per week
    • Ability to effectively present Circa Lighting’s value proposition in order to influence customers
    • Network with architects, builders and designers through involvement in trade associations
    • Adept at managing existing customers to ensure retention and continued sales growth.
    • Uses proprietary CRM to manage a priority-based schedule with existing and target customers.

    •  Capable of analyzing and interpreting data to drive decision making.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of sales experience in a consultative sales environment

    The job will entail:

    Maintain and organizing area rugs, and working with sales staff in presenting and displaying area rugs.

    There will be some heavy lifting involved.

    A high level of customer service is required and attention to detail.

    Additional responsibilities will also include UPS/FedEx, Freight shipment organization, Inventory control and accountability.

     

    Full time is preferred but part-time is possible.
